Like with all Lego games there are jokes throughout the game and you have your favourite characters from the movies. But unlike the other games within the levels of the game you have to build mini kit to progress through the level and while this is being built you will have to pick the correct part. In my opinion this takes away from the game its self. As you are no longer fighting trolls you are picking Lego blocks.

There is a lot of things to collect within the game Blacksmith recipes, Lego studs, Red Bricks, Minikits, Lego Mithril bricks

On the whole Lego The Hobbit is fun to play and is a two player where you help the second player instead of trying to kill them.

Tips

There fast travel points on the map

On free play mode use keys L1 and R1 to toggle between characters
